Süleymaniye Mosque – The work of architect Sinan, the largest mosque in Istanbul. Built in 1557. Can accommodate up to 5,000 worshippers.
Church of Blachernae – A famous church in the history of Eastern Christianity.
Basilica Cistern – An ancient underground reservoir with 336 columns.
Panorama 1453 Museum – Dedicated to the conquest of Constantinople by Sultan Mehmed II.
